Born in Chennai in 1996, Samyuktha Nair has always had a passion for books.
Her literary career started with scribbles on the wall as a toddler, and soon progressed to full-fledged books. Her first novella was published at the age of sixteen, and there has been no looking back since.
With work experience as a news blogger, copywriter, English teacher, and editor, Samyuktha decided to follow her passion, and set up Woolf Press in January 2021. She is involved in every part of the book process- be it mentoring new authors, editing, cover design, or marketing. She aims to make Woolf Press a secure and affordable platform for writers to find their voice.
Samyuktha won first runner-up in the Lit Digital Awards 2020, and was shortlisted for the Coimbatore Literary Awards in the same year. Her notable works include Sanitised Hallucinations, an award-winning collection of poetry. Her next book, The Eye of the Fish, is slated to release towards the end of 2021.
